Camren Landry didn’t allow a single run as Centennial Knights Varsity defeated Alpharetta 3-0 on Thursday. Landry allowed just three hits.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Landry struck out 11, while Stratton sat down six.
Centennial Knights Varsity got things started in the first inning when Jonathan Cannon tripled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
A single by Schiff in the second inning was a positive for Alpharetta.
Landry led the Centennial Knights Varsity to victory on the mound. He allowed three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking one.
Stratton took the loss for Alpharetta. He allowed four hits and three runs over six innings, striking out six.
Cain Johnson, Max Able, Cannon, and Peyton Pey Sperier each collected one hit to lead Centennial Knights Varsity. Centennial Knights Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Able had the most chances in the field with 12.
Alpharetta didn’t commit a single error in the field. Rowlinson had the most chances in the field with nine.
