Senior Jonathan Cannon shut down Johns Creek, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Centennial Knights Varsity to a 6-0 victory on Tuesday

Centennial Knights Varsity pulled off the big victory without ever scoring many runs in an inning. The most they scored was two in the sixth.

Centennial Knights Varsity got things moving in the second inning. Cannon hit a solo homer.

One bright spot for Johns Creek was a single by Morgan in the second inning.

Cannon led the Centennial Knights Varsity to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over seven innings, striking out ten and walking zero.
Ferguson took the loss for Johns Creek. He surrendered four runs on six hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five.

Centennial Knights Varsity launched two home runs on the day. Cannon went yard in the second inning. Senior Sam Janis went deep in the fourth inning.

Max Able led Centennial Knights Varsity with two hits in three at bats.

Johns Creek didn’t commit a single error in the field. Sands had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
