On a beautiful fall night, Centennial softball dropped Game 2 of a double-header to a boisterous River Ridge team 13-0, in front of a crowd of 82. Slick-fielding Mara Mershon had an unassisted double-play, spearing a line-drive, before alertly diving to the third base bag to double-up the runner. The Knights fall to 5-9 overall, 3-9 in league action. The Knights next play Thursday, hosting Sequoyah in a double-header beginning at 5:30. Tickets are going fast, but still can be had.
