Burgeoning superstar Diamond Leslie hit a grand slam and seniors Kayla Turner and Sophia Refeca closed out their stellar careers on high notes as Centennial defeated Mount Pisgah Christian 23-15 on Pink Out Night to end the season. Leslie’s salami, her fourth home run of the season, is believed to have landed somewhere in North Springs. Turner closed out her tenure as a Knight by scoring three runs while plating two more, walking twice in addition to going 1-for-2. She also had a web gem, snaring a line-drive before doubling off the runner on second base. Fellow senior, Refeca was 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and run scored on her mom’s birthday.

Caroline Jacobs and Mara Marshon also had multiple RBIs to ensure Pisgah’s late rally came to a screeching halt. The youthful Knights closed out the shortened season 6-11 overall, 3-11 in conference play.

Before the game, the Knights honored both survivors and loved ones lost to breast cancer.
