Centennial Knights Varsity Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Chattahoochee
Centennial Knights Varsity stole the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Chattahoochee on Monday. Centennial Knights Varsity trailed 3-2 in the top of the sixth inning when Camren Landry homered on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
Chattahoochee scored three runs in the first inning, but Centennial Knights Varsity still managed to pull out the victory. Wilkinson, Marsho, and Rokose each had RBIs in the big inning.
Chattahoochee captured the lead in the first inning. Chattahoochee scored one run on a stolen base.
Britt Kelly got the win for Centennial Knights Varsity. He surrendered three runs on six hits over six innings, striking out seven and walking one. Wesley Hall threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen for the save.
Rokose got the start for Chattahoochee. He surrendered two runs on four hits over five innings, striking out ten. Wilkinson threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Max Able, Elijah Franklin, Kyle Bernitt, Landry, and Jonathan Cannon each managed one hit to lead Centennial Knights Varsity.
