XC – team pictures tomorrow

The XC team will take  team and senior photos tomorrow after school.  Athletes should bring their uniform tops and SOLID BLACK shorts for the picture. Additionally, team members should have “officially” joined the team (paid their registration fees) in order to be in the team picture.  If there are some extenuating circumstances to consider with

3rd Annual Centennial Golf Classic benefiting Baseball and Softball held on September 11th

XC- final Jekyll costs

The final cost per athlete for the trip to Jekyll island was $200.  We had 2 last minute cancellations, which drove the cost up per athlete to promised maximum of $200 per runner.  The actual cost exceeded this amount but will be covered out of booster club funds. XC – practice schedule for week of SEP 10

MON – Distance run at Barnwell.  Athletes who drive themselves to school may transport themselves to the Jones Bridge Unit of Chattahoochee national park on Barnwell Road.  All other athletes MUST ride the bus.  Athletes should report to the stadium to lock  up their bags prior to boarding the bus.  Expected time of return to

XC – change in practice sched. for Thursday

Thursday’s distance run practice is being changed to a strrava run.  Athletes should complete a distance run and record the strava app.  If you do not already have strava on your phones, please download the app and use it to record your workout. The distance of your run can vary depending on what a “distance”

XC – practice schedule for week of SEPT 4-7

MON – Labor day holiday TUE – morning practice;    girls at 6:00, boys at 6:45.  8 speed 400’s WED – Mile repeats.  Course TBD.  Expected time of completion – 5:30/6:00 pm. THUR – Distance run. course TBA.  Expected time of completion – 6:15 to 6:30 pm FRI- Structured fartlek training on the practice field. 

3rd Annual CHS Golf Classic Benefiting Softball and Baseball
