Coed Varsity Swimming & Dive · Swim and Dive schedule kicks off officially this Friday

The Knights will begin the 2019-2020 season this Friday in Cumming at the 12th Annual Kickoff Invitational.  The Dive competition will begin Friday night at 8:00 PM.  Swimming competition is held Saturday.

November will feature a tough slate of meets for the Knights.  In addition to the Kickoff Invitational, the Knights will face off in 3 dual meets against Cambridge (Nov 9), Dunwoody (Nov 12), and Lassiter (Nov 16), followed by another invitational in Chattanooga at the McCallie Invitational (Nov 22-23).   The Cambridge girls are one of the favorites to dethrone the Knights girls as State Champs.  The Bears finished third last season and return most of their scoring points.  The Knights have split at Dunwoody the last few years and AAAAAAA Lassiter will certainly prove to be a challenge for the depth of the Knights.

The December schedule is light due to finals and the holiday break.  The Knights will travel to Harrison on Dec 6 before breaking for the month.

In January, the Knights go right back at it.  The month starts with the Fulton County Championships on Jan 9.  This meet features 4 of the top 5 programs in AAAAAA (Alpharetta, Centennial, Cambridge, Johns Creek).  Featuring the 2019 girls (Centennial) and boys (Johns Creek) state champs, all of these teams will be looking to make a statement about who is the favorite to win this years state title the following month.  January also includes a dual meet with Northview, a tri meet with Wesleyan and Johns Creek, and finally a dual meet with Johns Creek.  The Gladiators won the boys title last year while the Johns Creek girls finished fourth behind Centennial, Alpharetta, and Cambridge.

The season will conclude Feb 6-8 at the State Championship held annually at Georgia Tech.
