Thursday’s distance run practice is being changed to a strrava run. Athletes should complete a distance run and record the strava app. If you do not already have strava on your phones, please download the app and use it to record your workout.
The distance of your run can vary depending on what a “distance” run is for your level of fitness. The MINIMUM distance should be 3 miles – and only for athletes who have yet to compete in a meet. Returning athletes should be in the 6-8 mile range. New runners who have competed in a meet should complete 5-6 miles.
Athletes are encouraged to run together if possible, either in their neighborhoods, or local venues like parks/trails.
