The Knights picked up their first win of the season last Friday night, beating Johns Creek 21-17 on the road. Down 17-7 entering the 4th quarter, the Knights picked up a touchdown from freshman Julian Nixon and then took the lead on a touchdown pass from Max Brosmer to Blane Mason to take the lead.

The defense then stepped up and sealed the game for the Knights. Johns Creek was driving but the Knights got them to a 4th and short situation. The snap went over the head of Johns Creek’s quarterback and the Knights took over on downs.

The win was the first for Knights coach Michael Perry. Coach Perry will lead the the Knights (1-1, 1-3) to Cambridge (0-2,0-4) this week, looking for their 2nd win in a row. The Bears fell to Pope 35-6. Tickets for the game are available at GoFan.
