Centennial Track Coach Mike Higgins and CHS dad and community member David Bergman are bicycling across the US to raise money and awareness for BlazeSports America.

“When BlazeSports first started their track program years ago they planned to practice at Centennial High School, where I am the head track coach. BlazeSports contacted me to see if I knew of any retired coaches who might be willing to help out. I had heard of the organization and what they did, and I volunteered on the spot,” said Higgins.

The ride starts on Saturday on Tybee Island and will conclude 36 days later in San Francisco. See them in Atlanta on May 30

When: May 30th @ 8:45am
Where: The Silver Comet Trail, 4342 Floyd Road SW., Mableton, GA., 30126

Bring your bicycles and join between 8:45am-9:00am to ride with the Blaze Brothers or just cheer them on in support of their journey across 14 states!  Contact Bill Cudmore if interested in riding.

Good luck to Coach Higgins and Mr. Bergman. We are proud to have you as part of our community. Check out their journey here:
